What. Was. That. Takeaways from Bulls second loss in a row to the Knicks

I haven’t had a drink for the entire year of 2022. On Friday night, my self control was severely tested. The Bulls lost their second game in a row to the New York Knicks at the UC 114-91. They were outplayed, outcoached, outclassed and out to lunch. They lacked effort and heart along with scoring, defense and a will to fight. I’m not gonna waste your time. Lets get to YUP, EHH, DAMN.

YUP

+ The CHGO Bulls Takeover was awesome. Lots of good people who happen to be great Bulls fans came out to show support and enjoy the game. Sorry about that last part.

+ Derrick Rose entered the game late in the fourth to a rousing ovation from the faithful. Rose sank his first and only three shortly after getting in the game. The crowd went bananas. Chicago’s love for Rose is evident and ongoing.

+ Like I said, The CHGO Bulls Takeover was really great and I can’t wait to do it again. Thanks to all that came out.

EHH

-Jalen Brunson has been absolutely phenomenal against the Bulls. In the two games against the Bulls, Brunson averaged 26 points and 6.5 assists while shooting at modest 60 percent from three. Needless to say he was cookin’.

-Zach LaVine’s struggles continue. Although he finished with a team-high 17 points on 7-12 shooting and 3-5 from the three point line, he had a -31 on the evening. Not his best.

-Andre Drummond picked up four fouls in nine minutes. No bueno.

DAMN

  • Bulls had two offensive rebounds for the entire game. They didn’t get their second one till the fourth. In two games they were outrebounded on the offensive boards (Are you ready for this BS) 30-5. Damn.
  • The Knicks hit 35 threes in two games. That’s the most in a two-game stretch this season by the Bing Bongs.
  • The Bulls only got to the line eight times, their lowest output by far this year. It’s the first time this season they failed to reach double-digit free throw attempts as a team.

OK I’m done. January can’t come soon enough. Drink responsibly, people. See you Sunday. Peace.
