Jacob deGrom was rock solid tonight, but not good enough to take down the Cubs. deGrom had ten strikeouts and only allowed three hits through six innings, but it was Adrian Sampson who got the win. Just to give you an idea of how dominant deGrom has been over the last few seasons, tonight was his 39th straight start allowing 3 or fewer earned runs. Luke Stuckmeyer, Cody Delmendo and Ryan Herrera break it all down, while discussing the small chance DeGrom could headline this Cubs’ rotation next season.
