The Chicago White sox defeated the Seattle Mariners in the rubber match of their series Wednesday afternoon. Luis Castillo struck out the first 7 batters he faced but ran into trouble in the 6th inning before being lifted. Michael Kopech struggled in his return from the IL, allowing 4 runs in 3.2 innings. But the bats came to play, highlighted by Eloy Jimenez’s 3-4 day which included a homer and an RBI double.
