The Chicago White Sox defeated the Houston Astros in a matchup of two Cy Young contenders Tuesday night. Dylan Cease allowed 3 earned runs, the first time since May 24th he gave up more than 1 ER. Justin Verlander pitched 7 innings and also allowed 3 ER. But it was Gavin Sheets and Yoan Moncada who played hero in the late innings. Sheets delivered a game-tying 2-run double and Yoan Moncada supplied a game-winning single for the second-consecutive day.
