The MLB trade deadline is just over 24-hours away, but the Cubs are already making moves. After trading reliever Chris Martin, Scott Effross was the next domino to fall. Effross has been traded to the New York Yankees for RHP Hayden Wesneski, a AAA pitcher and top-10 Yankee prospect coming off a strong July. Effross has been the Cubs best reliever this season. He’s been dominant, unique and a great story for a team that continues to churn out bullpen depth. With five more years of club control, this appears to be a sell-high move from Jed Hoyer. Meanwhile, NL Central rival Milwaukee has sent four-time all-star and three-time NL Reliever of the Year Josh Hader to the San Diego Padres. The first-place Brewers got a big return for a closer that is on a hall-of-fame trajectory, but the move is turning heads. Luke Stuckmeyer, Cody Delmendo and Ryan Herrera talk about the big moves and prepare you for the inevitable ones to come in the next 24 hours.
