After nearly two weeks between starts as he dealt with shoulder fatigue, Kyle Hendricks said he felt refreshed heading into his outing Tuesday.

A five-inning, one-run performance doesn’t mean Hendricks is over the issues he’s run into over the past two seasons, but the Cubs hope it’s a sign of better things to come for “The Professor.”
