Playing in their final home game before their first playoff series in five years, the Bulls laid an absolute egg. Their defense was nonexistent in the first quarter, allowing the Hornets to make their first 11 field goal attempts. LaMelo Ball had 21 points in his first 12 minutes on the floor, shooting and making threes with zero resistance. By all observable evidence, these Bulls have mentally broken and given up.
